By recommendation, I ended up knowing Mustapha, who planned and tailor made this awesome 3 day trip to Erg Chegaga (dunes).
Picking us at Menara Airport on his comfortable 4x4, we crossed the Atlas Mountains (Tichka 2260mt), visited Ait Ben Haddou and then crossed Quarzazate to end up in a fantastic Riad in Agdz. The following day we had a long drive through the Draa Valley, visited the pottery works and the Koranic School in Tamagrout ending up for lunch in Mhamid.
Afterwards a 2 hrs drive off road into the desert, took us to the Chegaga Camp. After settling in our Tents, Camel’s where expecting for a stroll through the Dunes (experience the silence as never before, apart from the incredible views). Last day departed early and hit the road, through Iriki Dry Lake and Zghit Taznakt, towards Marrakech, with a small stop at Berber Tapestry Cooperative.
Mustapha Baqqa, apart from being a very nice person, is extremely professional and knowledgeable. Want to see and feel the desert, I highly recommend @Tour Maroc Guide.
